It’s been driving me mad! Am I missing a trick here? It’s taken so long to do

Argh!

This may look straight forward, but the amount of fuss there is to make this happen – has got me thinking: is it worth it? – Would it be far easier and quicker if I just made objects on Maya and spun around them? Rather than blending each separate frame in illustrator, taking them into Flash (which took me so many tutorials to figure out the settings!) then recording it with iShowU? – There’s got to be a more professional/efficient way!
Maya is looking quite inviting, right now! Here are the results from illustrator to Flash, I used the oven as an example as it was an object I know I will be using. The animation took 25 blends (which was a bit chaotic) for a 25ps .swf file.

Curds and Whey facts
May 21, 2009

Whey - nutrional information (from cheese process)
“Whey is used to produce ricotta, brown cheeses, Messmör/Prim and many other products for human consumption. It is also an additive in many processed foods, including breads, crackers and commercial pastry, and in animal feed. Whey proteins primarily consist of α-lactalbumin and β-lactoglobulin. Depending on the method of manufacture, whey may also contain glycomacropeptides (GMP).
Whey protein (derived from whey) is often sold as a nutritional supplement. Such supplements are especially popular in the sport of bodybuilding. In Switzerland, where cheese production is an important industry, whey is used as the basis for a carbonated soft drink called Rivella.” (California Milk Company, Wikipedia)

More Experiments In Illustrator
May 14, 2009
Factory/Laboratory machinery attempt(s):
My experiments in illustrator – not sure whether to use just the shaded version (ex.1) or the flat non-shaded more stylized one (ex.2) or both!
Flat when the camera pans the diagram/map then when zoomed in for more detail – use more 3D effects to spin around objects such as milk/cheese/bread/flour/machinery/places/maps. (as in previous examples in my blog)
